Workshops

While our courses provide students with individual feedback and ongoing help, our workshops target specific needs in a focused way. No registration is required for workshops, and all members of the University of Toronto community are welcome to attend as many or as few workshops as they wish.

Students might choose to attend single workshops if their schedules prevent them from taking a course, or if they seek help with a specific challenge: a challenge such as using articles or prepositions, managing smooth transitions in writing, giving poster presentations, or writing literature reviews.

Our workshops are organized into four different series; each series includes 4 to 8 individual workshops designed for the specific audience indicated in the title of the series. Workshops are offered in the Fall and Winter terms only.

Winter 2012 Workshop Schedule

Please note that registration is not required for the workshops listed below. Space in the rooms is limited, so arrive on time in order to avoid being turned away. As a courtesy to other participants and to the instructor, we ask that you attend only if you are able to stay for the entire workshop. Click the Session title for the description.  All descriptions will open in a new window.
