Urban Design Studies


Offered by the Department of Geography, the Master of Urban Design Studies (MUDS) is a one-year professional degree program which provides intensive, advanced education in the principles and practices of urban design. It aims to encourage an understanding of the interdependence of the economic, social, and political forces that shape the character, physical structure, and dynamic properties of cities. The MUDS program coincided with the launch of the Master of Urban Design (MUD) degree program in the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design.
