A five-year bachelor’s degree is offered in the fields of fine arts, pharmacy and architecture. Medicine, dentistry and veterinary science are all first university degrees that require six years of study.
Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) uses distance learning methods. It provides continuing and lifelong education and education through self-instruction programs and televised classes, and organizes tuition groups nationwide. Degrees from the Open University are not normally acceptable.
