Available on demand until January 2
This prerecorded workshop is taught by Lina Balsamo
Have you ever wondered whether idioms are suitable for academic discourse, and if so, which ones? Join us in this 20-minute workshop as we discuss the nature of idioms and their place in academic communication. We’ll then explore the meanings of several academic idioms and examine these expressions in context so that you can feel confident using them in your academic conversations.
This 20-minute workshop is prerecorded. Please register to receive a link to view the workshop. If you are not able to register online or if you are not a currently registered U of T graduate student, please contact Lauren at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will register you manually.
