Giving Better Feedback – Online Workshop
February 4 @ 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm EST
This online workshop is taught by Katherine Shwetz
Graduate school requires students to offer feedback in a wide range of situations. Grading students papers, participating in peer writing groups, and reviewing papers for academic journals all call for graduate students to offer clear and effective assessments of another scholar’s work. Yet offering feedback is more complicated than just identifying what’s wrong with a piece of work; effective feedback balances improving the content of the work with supporting the writer.
This is the third of 9 workshops in the Getting Through Graduate Work workshop series.
This workshop will be offered live online and will not be recorded. Please register to receive a link to join the workshop at the scheduled time. If you are not able to register online or if you are not a currently registered U of T graduate student, please contact Lauren at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will register you manually.
