  • This event has passed.

September 20, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm EDT

This synchronous workshop will be taught by Dr. Katherine Fry.

From orientation events to seminars to conferences, graduate school involves many opportunities to meet new people. While these social situations may be anxiety inducing, they are also valuable opportunities to build relationships with both fellow students and established scholars in your field. This workshop will cover practical strategies for initiating conversations and building meaningful professional connections in a variety of academic contexts.

This is the first of 8 workshops in the Academic Writing and Speaking in English workshop series.

This workshop will be offered live online and will not be recorded.
