Strategies for Creating an Effective 3MT Presentation – Online Workshop

  • This event has passed.

February 23, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

This online workshop is taught by Dr. Cristina D’Amico

In this workshop, we’ll cover three key areas for the development of a successful Three Minute Thesis (3MT): planning and writing, slide design, and delivery in the online environment. Participants will come away with strategies for concision, editing, and most importantly, for effective presentation. The session will run for two hours, and the final 30-45 minutes will be reserved for feedback on participants’ 3MT. Please bring your presentation in whatever stage you have it (a pitch, an idea, a slide, or a completed presentation).

This is the fifth of 9 workshops in the Getting Through Graduate Work workshop series.

This workshop will be offered live online and will not be recorded. Please register to receive a link to join the workshop at the scheduled time. If you are not able to register online or if you are not a currently registered U of T graduate student, please contact Lauren at sgs.gcac@utoronto.ca and she will register you manually.
