Strategies for Dealing with Writing Anxiety – Online Workshop
March 16, 2021 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm EDT
This online workshop is taught by Dr. Kathleen Ogden
Whether it’s writer’s block, chronic procrastination, or crippling paralysis when faced with a writing assignment, many people are affected by writing anxiety at some point in their academic careers. In this 90 minute workshop, we will discuss a variety of strategies that can help ease writing anxieties, including low-stakes writing exercises, note-taking strategies, story-boarding, and mind-mapping. We will also discuss ways to identify and adapt these strategies to their own particular needs.
This is the seventh of 9 workshops in the Getting Through Graduate Work workshop series.
This workshop will be offered live online and will not be recorded. Please register to receive a link to join the workshop at the scheduled time. If you are not able to register online or if you are not a currently registered U of T graduate student, please contact Lauren at email@example.com and she will register you manually.
