The “RD” in IMRD: Strategies for Successful Results and Discussion Sections – Prerecorded Workshop

Available on demand until January 2, 2022

This prerecorded workshop is taught by Dr. Peter Grav

In the final workshop in our examination of writing IMRD research articles, we’ll look at how we “frame” our results and present them to the reader in a way that effectively communicates what they signify and why they matter.  Topics of discussion include how to order your results, approaches and angles for discussing your research outcomes, dealing with limitations and strategies for concluding the discussion.

This is the fourth of 4 workshops in the Writing IMRD (Introduction – Methods – Results – Discussion) Research Articles (for students in Divisions 2,3 and 4) workshop series.

This 50-minute workshop is prerecorded. Please register to receive a link to view the workshop. If you are not able to register online or if you are not a currently registered U of T graduate student, please contact Lauren at sgs.gcac@utoronto.ca and she will register you manually.
