Writing Titles and Abstracts – Prerecorded Workshop
August 30 @ 5:00 pm EDT
Available on demand until August 30, 2022
This prerecorded workshop is taught by Dr. Peter Grav
Unfairly or not, your title and abstract will often be what determines whether other researchers will read your work, so we shouldn’t underestimate the importance of these two key textual elements. In this workshop we consider strategies for writing effective titles and abstracts for your research article.
This is the first of 4 workshops in the Writing IMRD (Introduction – Methods – Results – Discussion) Research Articles (for students in Divisions 2,3 and 4) workshop series.
This 40-minute workshop is prerecorded. Please click on ‘REGISTER’ just below to receive a link to view the workshop. If you are not able to register online or if you are not a currently registered U of T graduate student, please contact sgs.gcac@utoronto.ca to be registered manually.
