Community Health


The Master of Science in Community Health (MScCH) degree is offered by the Graduate Department of Public Health Sciences at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. This professional master's program is  restricted to practising health professionals and/or individuals who can demonstrate significant experience in the health care field. Five fields are offered:

  1. Addictions and Mental Health

  2. Family and Community Medicine

  3. Health Practitioner Teacher Education

  4. Occupational Health Care

  5. Wound Prevention and Care

Students in the MScCH program have the option of completing an emphasis in Global Public Health.

Base Funding Amount -

Graduate units determine a base funding amount for doctoral research stream programs and the number of years that the student will be eligible. In addition to the Base Funding, all eligible students will receive the cost of academic tuition and fees. More information about Base Funding can be found at .​

Actual Income -

Students often have the opportunity to earn additional income through research stipends, internal and external fellowships, RA employment income and TA-ships. Therefore, the average actual income of students in a program is typically higher than the Base Funding amount in that program. More information about Actual Incomes can be found at .
