Notes for Brazil

The Mestrado Profissional (Professional Master Degree) focuses on the needs of professionals to develop skills and knowledge, often in technological fields.

The Curso Superior de Tecnólogia (higher technology course) is a degree in an applied subject, and confers professional rights within a profession.

The Especialização or Título/Certificado de Especialista is considered comparable to one year of graduate study in North America.

If applicants have either of the above applied degrees, consult SGS. They may come to us as non-standard admission cases.
