Making an Academic Podcast as a Graduate Student (Online Synchronous Workshop)

  • This event has passed.

November 13, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm EST

This workshop is taught by Pranjal Tiwari.

Graduate students gain a wealth of knowledge throughout their studies, but often struggle to find ways to share that knowledge with the wider world. An academic podcast can be a great way to share your scholarly expertise and enthusiasm. In this workshop, we discuss what an academically focussed podcast can look like and how you can make one of your own. The workshop will cover how to choose an engaging topic, how to format an episode, how to record that episode, and finally how to release it into the world. Podcasting can be a fantastic creative outlet that allows you to engage interested listeners with scholarly topics.

This is the 8th of 10 workshops in the Getting Through Graduate Work: Synchronous Workshops series.
