Making an Academic Podcast as a Graduate Student

Workshop taught by Pranjal Tiwari

This synchronous workshop will be offered online and will not be recorded. Please register to recieve the confirmation e-mail with the workshop details.

Graduate students gain a wealth of knowledge throughout their studies, but often struggle to find ways to share that knowledge with the wider world. An academic podcast can be a great way to share your scholarly expertise and enthusiasm. In this workshop, we discuss what an academically focussed podcast can look like and how you can make one of your own. The workshop will cover how to choose an engaging topic, how to format an episode, how to record that episode, and finally how to release it into the world. Podcasting can be a fantastic creative outlet that allows you to engage interested listeners with scholarly topics.
