Effective academic conversation skills are important to your success as a graduate student. The aim of this workshop is to draw your attention to common challenges in academic conversations and to introduce you to some strategies and resources to help you overcome barriers in these conversations. We will discuss issues related to miscommunication, conversational behaviours, and ways to recognize the precise strategies to increase your clarity and to communicate academically in the easiest way possible.

This is the first of 4 workshops in the Academic Writing and Speaking in English workshop series.
