“I view my classmates and professors as family.”

My five years at U of T have been phenomenal. I completed my undergraduate degree in physiology and human biology. I loved the experience so much that I decided to pursue my master’s degree here as well.

I’m enrolled in the Master of Management of Innovation, an accelerated 12-month program that teaches business skills to complement my background in science. This dual skill set is valuable in today’s rapidly changing workplace; it has allowed me to gain a competitive edge.

U of T’s reputation is outstanding — I wanted to learn from the brilliant minds of the researchers, professors, and students here. Having a degree from U of T has opened the door to so many exciting opportunities worldwide.

My experience as a graduate student has been amazing because of the people. I view my classmates and professors as family because they have created a supportive environment to facilitate my educational growth. I hope to land a position in the pharmaceutical industry.

My education has allowed me to travel. So far, I’ve been fortunate to visit South Africa and Belgium! I hope to continue to travel.

There is so much to do, so many people to meet, and so many opportunities available at U of T. To make the most of your experience, seize every moment and put yourself out there. I believe the more you put in, the more you’ll get out.
