Katie Fry is an Assistant Professor (Teaching Stream) at the Graduate Centre for Academic Communication. She has a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Toronto, an MA in English from York University, a BA Honours in English from Simon Fraser University, and a Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

A student of many languages and a professional literary translator (Spanish to English), Katie teaches courses in academic speaking and writing at the GCAC. Her research interests include translanguaging, corpus linguistics, and the rhetoric of literary studies.
